Whitehill and Bordon’s mission is to create a town where well-being and exercise is a priority. It is a fundamental part of our Vision for delivering a "Healthy Town” that will be one of the most desirable places to live in Hampshire, full of an impressive mix of leisure and cultural opportunities.
The masterplan includes a new cycling route, footpaths, public open space, children’s play areas, multi-use games areas, a BMX or skate-park, allotments, landscaping and a public car park.

Goings-On
A fabulous leisure centre opens in Autumn 2019 with a six-lane, 25m swimming pool, a learner pool and an 80-station health and fitness area including two studios. In addition, existing sports facilities such as cycle routes, jogging paths, walking trails and pitches will be enhanced and upgraded, so there will be plenty of opportunity to dust-off those trainers and keep yourself fit.
A new skate park forms part of the planned reinvention,
it is a key element of the enhanced provisions for young people in the town and provided a much-needed replacement to the previous facility. There is an adventure park made from natural materials surrounded by a picnic area, within a glade created within the woodland. For those who like competitive sports there is the newly built, colonial style, 2 storey, cricket pavilion and pitches of Bordon & Oakhanger Sports Club,
where you can also play tennis and hire rooms for functions (as well as just turning up at the bar for a well-deserved drink).
